Passing Strange

Passing Strange is a comedy-drama rock musical!

Witness a young African American's artistic journey of self-discovery in Europe, with strong elements of philosophical existentialism, metafiction (especially self-referential humor), and the artistic journey. The musical's lyrics and book are by Stew with music and orchestrations by Heidi Rodewald and Stew. It was created in collaboration with director Annie Dorsen.

Passing Strange is directed by Jeff Hunsicker with musical director Joe Trainor.

PUB PLAYS - A Comedic Tour-de-Force of CTC'S Past, Present & Future

Party at the pub like it's 1993 (or 2003, or 2013, or 2023) with City Theater Company this spring!

CTC is bringing back it’s Pub Plays, a throwback to our early days downtown at O'Friel's Irish Pub and the beginning of our signature style of intimate, immersive theater. The evening showcases a full program of short plays in a nod to CTC's tradition of comedic, experimental, and new works. Both Delaware and national playwrights’ works will be presented.
Tickets available in January.
