CTC’s home base is The Black Box, housed at OperaDelaware Studios, on the Wilmington waterfront. The theater is just blocks from the Amtrak train station and right off Interstate 95. The waterfront area is home to a diverse population reflected in the community’s arts, culture, and nightlife.

We encourage patrons to buy their tickets online ahead of time via our secure box office. Ticket sales at the door may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card.

From the North…

  1. Follow I95 south to Wilmington. (Do not take I495.)
  2. Take exit 6: Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Fourth Street.
  3. At the first traffic light, proceed straight. Keep left.
  4. At the second traffic light, proceed straight.
  5. At the third traffic light, turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
  6. Proceed straight ahead, and keep to the right.
  7. Two blocks past the train station, turn right onto Poplar Street. (The Sunday Breakfast Mission will be on the opposite corner.)
  8. Proceed under the overpass, and turn left for parking.
  9. Opera Delaware Studios is the red brick building with three arches.

From the South…

  1. Follow I95 north to Wilmington. (Do not take I495.)

  4. Once on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, keep right.

Parking

Parking is free in the OperaDelaware Studios lot.

Seating

General admission for most shows, no assigned seating. If your party have special needs, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate. The theater and lobby areas are handicapped-accessible.

Box Office

Box office opens one hour prior to performance and accepts cash, check, or credit. Due to limited seating, patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance via our secure website.

Refreshments

Our bar is located inside the theater and offers a variety of beverages and snacks before the show and at intermission. Concessions are cash or check only. There is no ATM in the building.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor and are handicapped-accessible.

Dining

Wilmington offers several options for dining before or after the show, both on the waterfront or downtown. Reservations are recommended.
