Now accepting cast submissions for the musical SPRING AWAKENING at City Theater Company in Wilmington, DE.
Seeking non-union performers ages 18+ of varying sex, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, and creed with strong vocal, acting, and movement chops in an ensemble-driven show,
Please note - recommended casting age is targeted to folks who "read" ages 15-20, as the majority of the protagonists are high-school age. The show is rated R, includes profanity, and deals with sensitive themes, including, but not limited to, sex, pregnancy, child abuse, and suicide. Please keep these things in mind when considering your submission.
$600 paid stipend. In-person rehearsals begin the last week of October and include Sunday afternoon/evening and two weekday evening rehearsals, specific times TBD, and a 6-day tech week prior to opening night. Show run is 7 performances over two weeks, December 13-21, 2024.
